On 19th August 2024, a Meeting was held at the Telangana Secretariat, convened by Janab Mohammed Ali Shabbir Sahab , Advisor to Minorities, to discuss the Waqf Management Bill.

The members unanimously rejected and condemned The new Waqf bill. The Chairman, TGMFC Janab Mohd Obedulla Kothwal announced that all Chairmanswill collectively meet the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana and submit a letter to the JPC, stating that the people of Telangana oppose this bill and demand its rejection.
