Update on the viral video of water logging in ToliChowki!!!

AIMIM Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin inspected the rain affected localities of Toli Chowki.

Major waterlogging was reported at Tolichowki junction near Hotel Rumaan.

As there is no planned way of disposal of “Used Cooking Oil” used by hotels. Unabated damping and disposal of Used Cooking Oil resulted in a choked sewer drain at Rumaan Hotel junction resulting in massive waterlogging.

Request @CommissionrGHMC & @fssaiindia to ensure an SOP is in place for all the hotels and roadside stalls to dispose of the Used Cooking Oil so that sewer lines are stopped from being choked.

On rep of AIMIM President Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi Sb remodelling of stormwater lines was undertaken at 8 different locations within Tolichowki. All the water logging points in Tolichowki were cleared instantly (20-30 minutes post rainfall) with the help of the GHMC monsoon team.
