In the same city, people are yearning for water and lakhs of liters of water is being wasted from the main water lines. In Mashobra, water was leaking from the main water line and water was flowing in the open. The local people made a video of this and sent it to the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation. The Mayor also reached Mashobra with the officials on Wednesday and after inspecting the spot, instructed the officials to stop the leakage.

Delhi Water Minister Atishi stated that 200 enforcement teams are being formed by the Delhi Jal Board to ensure that no borewells are malfunctioning or blocked. There is a ban on the use of portable water at construction sites, and if any construction site is found doing so, it will be sealed by the MCD.
