Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho once again appealed taxi operators to join any taxi app or come up with their own, speaking to reporters Godinho said that the whole country is currently laughing at Goa for not introducing Ola and Uber, but because of Goan taxi operator we did not bring them. Godinho also said that despite installing digital taxi meters, no operators are using it. To bring transperance & keep track of the data, the taxi operators must join app based aggregators, Godinho stated.
