A day after television actress Mona Singh filed a police complaint following a leaked MMS clip showing a semi-nude woman alleged to be her that went viral online, the issue seems to have gained momentum on social networking site Twitter.
The hashtag #MMS and Mona Singh continued to stay in the India Trends of Twitter as a few dubbed the incident as a publicity stunt by the 32-year-old actress.

Bollywood actor took the opportunity to took a dig at Mona on the networking site as he tweeted: “Good morning and kiss to Mona Singh n kick to person who released her MMS (sic)”
His tweets followed as: “Media people should go to house of Mona singh to check her kitchen n bathroom n it will be prove tat the MMS is of her only…Mona singh's boyfriend film is releasing so I think Mona singh has done it purposely. It's 200% real MMS. She is having fun at recording Tim (sic)'
Mona found some support in her friends, actress and producer Pooja Bhatt along with director Kunal Kohli.
'Thankfully, my family and friends are standing by me like they always have, supporting me to see this through. If today this can happen to me, it can happen to any innocent girl and things like this can ruin lives and careers forever. This is a VERY SERIOUS issue and it needs to stop!” Mona said.
Meanwhile, Bhatt took to Twitter as she wrote: “Admiration & absolute support! RT (sic)”
