आष्टा पार्वति थाना अंतर्गत ग्राम डाबरी में उस समय सनसनी फैल गई। जब एक नाले में नवजात शिशु का शव मिलने की खबर मिली। जिसने भी सुना नाले की ओर पहुचा। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुची । थाना प्रभारी चिन्मय मिश्रा ने बताया कि डाबरी के निकट नाले मे नवजात शिशु मिला है। जिसकी उम्र 7-8 माह अनुमान लगाई जा रही है। नवजात शिशु पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा हेै पुलिस ने मर्ग कायम कर जांच मे मामला लिया है।

पूर्व मंत्री और कांग्रेस नेता आरिफ अकील के निधन पर कांग्रेस को अपूर्णनीय क्षति हुई है। । आरिफ अकील ने अपना राजनैतिक जीवन कॉलेज से ष्शुरू किया था। । सैफिया कालेज भोपाल से उन्होंने निर्वाचित छात्रसंघ अध्यक्ष के रुप मे राजनीति की शुरुआत की थी । जनप्रिय छवि के चलते वे छह बार वे भोपाल उत्तर से विधायक चुने गए । वे मध्यप्रदेश शासन में दो बार मंत्री भी रहे । आरिफ अकील जनहितैषी कार्यों के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहते थे । उन्होंने सीहोर जिले के प्रभारी मंत्री के रूप में भी उल्लेखनीय कार्य किये । वे स्वभाव से स्पष्टवादी और निच्छल नेता थे । वे एक कुशल अधिवक्ता और उच्च शिक्षित जनप्रतिनिधि रहे । गरीब शोषित और अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग के लिए वे पक्षपात रहित सच्ची हमदर्दी से काम करते थे । सेवा के लिए राजनीति का उनका फार्मूला उन्हें सभी वर्गों में लोकप्रिय बनाए हुए था । उनकी लोकप्रियता के चलते उनके पुत्र और राजनीतिक उत्तराधिकारी आतिफ अकील भी भोपाल उत्तर विधानसभा क्षेत्र से चुने गए । लंबी बीमारी के चलते उनका निधन हो गया। उनके जनाजे की यात्रा मे हजारो की ंसंख्या मे लोग उपस्थित रहे। जहां कब्रिस्तान ले जाकर उन्हे सुपर्द ए खाक किया गया

अचानक लगी आग से लाखो रूपए का सामान जलकर हुआ राख..

बीती रात अज्ञात कारणो के चलते अचानक दुकान में आग लगने से बस स्टैंड पर दहशत का माहौल बन गया। आग की लपटे इतनी तेज थी कि दूर दूर तक दिख रही थी। नगर सहित क्षेत्र के इस वर्ष के इतिहास मे सबसे बड़ी आग से घटना घटी जिसमें 30 लाख से भी अधिक का सामान जलकर राख हो गया। हालांकि सूचना मिलते ही सीएमओ राजेश सक्सेना ने तत्काल फायर ब्रिगेड भेजी और स्वयं भी मौके पर पहुचे। देखते ही देखते दुकान में इतनी तेज आग लगी कि लोग 20 फिट से भी दूरी से निकल रहे थे। फायर ब्रिगेड कर्मचारीयो एवं आम जनता ने मिलकर दो घंटे से भी अधिक कशमकश के बाद आग पर काबू पाया ।दुकान संचालक फरहान खान ने बताया कि पाकीजा ऑटो पार्टस के नाम से दुकान संचालित थी जिसमें सभी प्रकार के ट्रैक्टरो के पार्टस आयल बैटरी सहित करीब 30 लाख से भी अधिक का सामान था। जो जलकर राख हो गया। फरहान ने बताया कि 10 बजे के लगभग दुकान बंद करी थी। 11 बजे पड़ोसी का फोन आया कि दुकान से धुआं निकल रहा है। मै घर से आया जब तक तो आग ने विकराल रूप ले लिया था और मेरी आंखो के सामने ही लाखो रूपए का सामान पलभर मे जलकर राख हो गया। पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुच गई थी आग लगने का कारण अज्ञात बताया जा रहा है। फरियादी फरहान खान ने पुलिस एवं अनुविभागीय अधिकारी को आवेदन दिया है।

प्रदेश सहित समूचे देश भर में गणतंत्र दिवस एवं स्वतंत्रता दिवस के पूर्व हर-घर तिरंगा यात्रा का आगाज होता है, उसी के चलते नगर में जनप्रतिनिधियों एवं अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति में हजारों की संख्या में विद्यार्थियों द्वारा तिरंगा यात्रा निकाली गई। यह यात्रा सीएम राईस स्कूल से प्रारंभ हुई जो नगर के मुख्य मार्गो से होते हुए पुनः सीएम राईस स्कूल पहुंची जहां तिरंगा यात्रा का समापन हुआ।तिरंगा यात्रा के मुख्य अतिथि विधायक गोपालसिंह इंजीनियर ने उपस्थितजनों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि हर घर तिरंगा अभियान के पीछे का विचार लोगों के दिलों में देशभक्ति की भावना जगाना और भारतीय राष्ट्रीय ध्वज के बारे में जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना है। जब भी राष्ट्रीय ध्वज प्रदर्शित किया जाए, तो उसे सम्मान की स्थिति में रखा जाना चाहिए। उसे अलग स्थान पर रखा जाना चाहिए। क्षतिग्रस्त या अस्त-व्यस्त राष्ट्रीय ध्वज प्रदर्शित नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। भारत का राष्ट्रीय ध्वज शांति, प्रेम और एकता का प्रतीक है। भारत को आजाद कराने में कई स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों ने अपनी जान गंवाई। यह उनके अमूल्य बलिदान का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।
