Residents of a Mahagun Moderne housing society in Noida witnessed a mob attack after hundreds of protesters started pelting stones at the apartments. The mob gathered outside the main gate at 7am and tried to breach the security. The incident occurred after a maid, Zohra Bibi, was allegedly beaten up and locked inside by her employer on the charges of stealing money from their house. The attackers were relatives and neighbours of the maid who believe the employers could have taken the maid to police instead of beating her.

No case has been registered yet, but the police is trying to control the situation at the scene. The maid has been admitted to a district hospital by the police..
