बीजेपी ने बीएसपी सुप्रीमो मायावती के खिलाफ चुनाव आयोग में याचिका दायर की गई है... आरोप है कि मायावती विधानसभा चुनाव में धर्म और जाति के आधार पर वोट मांग रही हैं...इस याचिका में बीएसपी की मान्यता रद्द करने की मांग की गई है...ये याचिका प्रदेश में बीजेपी कार्यकारिणी के सदस्य नीरज शंकर सक्सेना ने दायर की है,,,सक्सेना का कहना है कि मायावती ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट की संवैधानिक पीठ के फैसले के खिलाफ बयान जारी किया है. पीठ ने अपने फैसले में कहा था कि धर्म और जाति के आधार पर वोट नहीं मांग सकते....शिकायत में कहा गया है कि मायावती ने 3 जनवरी 2017 को प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव में लड़ने वाले प्रत्याशियों की सूची जारी की थी. उस सूची को मायावती ने धर्म और जाति के आधार पर विभाजित किया था. साथ ही मायावती ने बीएसपी की एक बुकलेट जारी कर कहा था कि मुसलमानों की सच्ची हितैषी बसपा है. आने वाले चुनाव में वह सपा को वोट न देकर बसपा को वोट दें... इस शिकायत में सक्सेना का कहना है कि ये सारी बातें जनप्रतिनिधि अधिनियम RP एक्ट के प्रावधान 125 के तहत अपराध है. लिहाजा चुनाव आयोग मायावती के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज कराए और उनकी पार्टी की सदस्यता रद्द करें.
