Synopsis
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday), but only Chris' best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc. Brian De Palma's 1976 film version of 'Carrie' earned Oscar nominations for stars Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie.

    A few actresses come to mind when I think of a young Carrie Bradshaw.
    Already a rising young, up and coming fashion icon, Elizabeth Olsen might be a perfect fit for the role. There's already been positive Hollywood chatter about her acting in the upcoming feature 'Martha Marcy May Marlene.'

    Although Dianna Agron might be graduating from McKinley High School soon but she might make a quick turnaround or transfer and become the future fashionista at another school. Dianna is by far my favorite pic to play the role of Carrie.

    And of course, lots of eyes are on Emma Roberts. Although everyone has been pinning her down as playing the role of Miranda, I think she would make a great Carrie. She already has her looks down with the blonde locks, great fashion sense and she can definitely act!
