Kita pasti sudah sering mendengar kata 'Jomblo'. Kata yang popular digunakan oleh kalangan anak muda ini menjadi tema dalam single terbaru Gamma1 yang berjudul 'Jomblo Happy'.
Lagu ini merupakan sebuah lagu saduran dari salah satu lagu European dance yang pertama kali dipopulerkan di tahun 2007 oleh grup trio dengan nama BUM, dengan judul asli yang berbahasa Rusia yaitu KANIKULY yang diciptakan oleh Dmitry Kokhanovsky. Kemudian lagu tersebut diterjemahkan oleh 2 pencipta lainnya kedalam bahasa Inggris dan dipopulerkan pada tahun 2008 oleh grup trio yang bernama BOOM dengan judul 'How Do You Do'.
'Di lagu ini kami tetap mempertahankan dari porsi aransemen lagu aslinya karena kami memang ingin menunjukkan kepada publik bahwa lagu tersebut sudah kami dapatkan ijinnya secara sah, agar tidak ada kesalahpahaman tentang tudingan band yang plagiat. Kami dan pihak label sepakat lagu ini sangat menarik untuk dibawakan ulang dengan penggubahan lirik tanpa menghilangkan ciri khas Gamma1', ujar Heri. Untuk itu Heri, Nilam, Alung, Andan, dan Pandi tetap memberikan sentuhan genre musik melayu di lagu ini agar tidak menghilangkan ciri dan identitas bermusik Gamma1.
‘Jomblo’ sendiri adalah kata yang digunakan anak muda jaman sekarang untuk menggambarkan orang-orang yang tak punya pacar atau kekasih. Kata jomblo selalu diidentikkan dengan kesendirian dan kegalauan. Bahkan predikat jomblo dianggap sebagai sebuah kutukan.
Padahal menjadi jomblo tidaklah selalu buruk. Menjadi lajang/single/jomblo bukan berarti tidak bahagia. Sebagian orang memilih men-jomblo sebagai suatu pilihan.
