అమరావతి, జులై 31 : ఉద్ధానం కిడ్నీ సమస్య శాశ్వత పరిష్కారానికి ఎన్ని నిధులైనా ఖర్చు పెట్టేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నదని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ప్రకటించారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఈ సమస్యను ఒక ఛాలెంజ్‌గా తీసుకుని ఇప్పటికే పలు కార్యక్రమాలను చేపట్టిందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. రూ.15 కోట్ల నిధులతో శ్రీకాకుళంలో ప్రపంచస్థాయి పరిశోధన కేంద్రాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయడానికి ఇప్పటికే రాష్ట్ర మంత్రిమండలి నిర్ణయం తీసుకుందని గుర్తుచేశారు. సమస్య ఎక్కడ ఉంటే అక్కడ ప్రజలకు రక్షిత శుద్ధ నీటిని అందించేందుకు అవసరమైన ఆర్వో ప్లాంట్లను ఏర్పాటుచేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. సోమవారం మధ్యాహ్నం హార్వర్డ్ మెడికల్ స్కూల్ పరిశోధక బృందంతో కలిసి తమ అధ్యయన నివేదికను సమర్పించి ప్రభుత్వానికి సిఫారసులు అందించేందుకు వచ్చిన జనసేన అధినేత పవన్ కల్యాణ్‌తో ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రత్యేకంగా సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఉద్ధానం కిడ్నీ సమస్య పరిష్కారం పట్ల రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటున్న చర్యలను వివరించారు. హార్వర్డ్ నిపుణుల బృందం చేసిన సూచనలు, సిఫారసులను నిశితంగా విన్నారు. జనసేన నాయకుడు పవన్ కల్యాణ్ చేసిన పలు సూచనలకు అప్పటికప్పుడే స్పందించి అధికారులకు తగు ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చారు.
