Bollywood performing artist Sanjay Dutt will make his rebound with chief Omung Kumars up and coming film Bhoomi. 'I have been searching for scripts that went past my screen persona. संजयदत्तकी कमबैक फिल्म ‘भूमि’ के प्रति लोगों की जिज्ञासा अब चरम पर पहुंच गई है कि क्योंकि जेल से रिहा होने के बाद संजय दत्तपहली बार किसी फिल्म में नजर आने वाले हैं। हालांकि, ‘भूमि’ एक एक्शन-थ्रिलर फिल्म है, जिसमें संजय दत्त के साथ अदिति राव हैदरी औरसिद्धांत गुप्ता प्रमुख भूमिकाओं में हैं, जबकि इसका डायरेक्शन ओमांग कुमार ने किया है। इसी फिल्म के प्रमोशन के सिलसिले में पूरी टीम पिछलेदिनों दिल्ली में थी। फिल्म में संजय दत्त एक ऐसे पिता की भूमिका निभा रहे हैं, जो अपनी बेटी (अदिति राव हैदरी) के लिए लड़ता नजर आएगा। फिल्म में पिता-पुत्री के बीच का गहरा और इमोशनल रिलेशन नजर आएगा।
संजय दत्त ने अपनी ही फिल्म ‘पिता’ के साथ ‘भूमि’ की तुलना करते हुए कहा, 'मेरे अनुसार दोनों ही फिल्म में एक ही भावना है। ‘पिता’ में यह विषय समान हो सकता है, लेकिन ‘भूमि’ का ट्रीटमेंट पूरी तरह से अलग है। हमारा देश महिलाओं के खिलाफ बढ़ रहेअत्याचारों की समस्या का सामना कर रहा है, जिसका कि मैंने शुरू से ही जोरदार विरोध किया है। फिल्म अलग तरह से शूट की गई है और इसे अलग-अलग तरह के दृश्य हैं, लेकिन मुझे नहीं लगता कि यह किसी अन्यफिल्म की नकल करती है। हमने फिल्म कीशूटिंग बहुत मुश्किल स्थानों पर की है, लेकिन हर जगह हमें लोगों का भरपूर सहयोग एवं समर्थन मिला।’
बता दें कि ‘भूमि’ हॉलिवुड की सुपरहिट फिल्म 'टेकन' से प्रेरित है, जिसमें एक पिता अपनी किडनैप हुई बेटी को बचाने के मिशन पर निकलता है। हॉलीवुड में इस फिल्म को काफी पसंद किया गया था। भूषण कुमार और संदीप सिंह द्वारा सह-निर्मित 'भूमि' 22 सितंबर को रिलीज होगी।
