Here is the start time, lineup, TV schedule and more for today's Talladega race.
It's NASCAR race day at Talladega Superspeedway, and we've got some essential information you need to get ready for today's Aaron's 499.
START TIME: Former Atlanta Braves star Chipper Jones will give the command for drivers to fire their engines at 12:55 p.m. Eastern (11:55 a.m. local time). Following a few pace laps – led by University of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron in the pace car – the drivers will take the green flag at 1:07 p.m. Eastern. So if you want to skip the pre-race show and just turn on your TV for the start of the race, tune in at 1:07 p.m. Eastern.
RACE DISTANCE: The Aaron's 499 is actually not 499 miles, as convenient as that would be. The field will race 188 laps around the 2.67-mile Talladega Superspeedway, which is a total of 500.8 miles.
KEY TO WINNING AT TALLADEGA: Could it be mental?
THE BIG ONES: Memorable Talladega wrecks
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Robin Meade of HLN fame will sing the anthem before today's race. This is her third time singing the anthem.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: FOX will broadcast today's race and has a pre-race show beginning at noon ET. The Motor Racing Network (MRN) will call the race on the radio.
WEATHER: Very iffy. After persistent rain on Saturday, more scattered showers and cool temperatures are expe

Seven hours after the race started, rank outsiders Front Row Motorsports crossed the finish line one-two, David Ragan upsetting the stars to win the Aaron's 499 NASCAR race at Talladega.
On a day marked by bad weather, a long rain delay and two massive crashes, the two Davids beat NASCAR's Goliaths.
The pair edged pole-sitter Carl Edwards back to third within sight of the flag, with Michael Waltrip and Jimmie Johnson rounding out the top five.
The most dominant driver in the race was Matt Kenseth, but he failed to make the right moves when it counted and was bumped back to eighth.
Australia's Marcos Ambrose ran strongly throughout the race but was in the wrong place at the wrong time for both crashes, his Ford Fusion carrying two black eyes and extensive sheet metal damage.
Nonetheless, Ambrose still managed to finish 14th, and looked a threat to finish inside the top five for most of the day.
The first crash was triggered on Lap 43, Kyle Busch taking the blame for spinning Kasey Kahne near the front of the field as they entered turn one, 13 cars piling into the mess.
Among those included were Tony Stewart, Brian Vickers (who took over for Denny Hamlin on Lap 24), Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon and Kevin Harvick.
Kenseth held sway for most of the early going, but it was Edwards leading when the red flags came out on Lap 124.
Rain and storms swept across the speedway, lightning and hail prompting a
