इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने उत्तर प्रदेश में चल रहे अवैध बालू खनन पर कड़ा रुख अपनाया है। कोर्ट ने मामले की जांच सीबीआई को सौपी दी है और साथ ही छह सप्ताह के अंदर रिपोर्ट मांगी है।....कोर्ट ने खनन मामले की मानीटरिंग भी खुद ही करने का फैसला किया है। अपने फैसले में बेहद तल्ख़ टिप्पणी करते हुए कोर्ट ने कहा कि यूपी के ज़्यादातर हिस्सों में माफियाओं और अफसरों का रैकेट अवैध तरीके से खनन करा रहा है और सरकार इस बारे में कहीं भी खनन न होने का हलफनामा देकर कोर्ट को गुमराह करने की कोशिश कर रही है। अखिलेश सरकार की मंशा पर सावल उठाते हुए हाईकोर्ट ने कहा कि ऐसा लगता है कि सरकार खनन को रोकना ही नहीं चाहती है। सुनवाई के दौरान कोर्ट ने माना कि सरकारी अफसरों की जानकारी और उनकी मिलीभगत के बिना अवैध खनन मुमकिन ही नहीं है। फिलहाल इस मामले की सुनवाई 8 सितम्बर को होगी । आपको बता दें कि हाईकोर्ट की ओर से मांगी गई रिपोर्ट में यूपी सरकार ने संसाधनों की कमी का हवाला देकर सेटेलाइट मैपिंग से निगरानी कराने में लाचारी जताई थी और साथ ही कहा था कि उसकी जांच में समूचे यूपी में कहीं भी अवैध बालू खनन होते नहीं पाया गया है।
