Selena Gomez dating Ed Sheeran!?
Well, I have to say -- I never saw this coming, but I kind of like it. US Weekly has not one, but TWO sources who say that Selena has definitely moved on from Justin Bieber with none other than Ed Sheeran.
In fact, one insider says: 'They are hooking up!'
Another source added that Selena is definitely over the Biebs, adding that that are QUOTE: 'totally done ... not even hooking up anymore.'
And that she is really interested in giving things a shot with Ed. The insider went on to say: 'They are friends with an open mind.... He's sensitive and sweet and a lot deeper than Justin.'
Ok, ok.
And get this, as I'm sure you could have guessed -- Selena's BFF Taylor Swift can take all the credit for this relationship if things work out -- because she was the one to introduce them.
There was also that rumor that Ed and Selena were writing a song together -- and, while that isn't true, at least not yet... he WAS spotted leaving her house a few days ago with a guitar in hand -- so, he probably played her some tunes -- and to that I say -- smooth move, Sheeran.
Also you guys -- how cute is this. When Ed was on hand at the MuchMusic Video Awards over the weekend, he was actually asked about the possibility of getting set-up with Sel, and while he totally played the cute and coy card -- he did say: 'I wouldn't complain.'.
