One of Marvel's most ambitious and potentially risky projects is by far Guardians of the Galaxy and with production soon to begin on the film, we're getting info on some possible casting additions. HitFix reports that John C. Reilly is in talks to join the cast as 'Rhomann Dey', but will be taking on a much different version of the character than in the comics. Instead of being leader of the Nova Corps and the one who bestows Richard Rider as the new Nova, Reilly's Dey will reportedly be human and a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. He will basically be to the Guardians what Agent Coulson was to The Avengers. HitFix also reports that Marvel is looking at names like Hugh Laurie, Alan Rickman and Ken Watanabe to play a peer to Dey. And Dey isn't the only comic book character that could be getting a make-over for the cinematic universe. The site also claims that Yondu, who we previously revealed would be played by The Walking Dead's Michael Rooker, will be the bad guy in the film, describing him as a 'space pirate of sorts'. This would be very different from the comics, where he is a founding member of the original Guardians of the Galaxy. Of course, we know that Lee Pace will be playing the film's main villain, but who he will actually play is still unclear.
