We have seen a lot of White House dramas hit the big screen lately, Olympus Has Fallen, and even White House Down, which is coming out this summer, but there's nothing more dramatic than what really goes on in our nation's capital. And perhaps that's why the producers of the Twilight Saga, Temple Hill, are jumping at the chance to tell the bio pic, of former US Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The movie, called Rodham, will apparently highlight Hillary early in her career, specifically around the time of President Richard Nixon's impeachment, and it is also supposed to address her relationship and feelings for President Bill Clinton before he was ever elected into the White House. There were many starlets rumored to be in the running to play former Secretary Clinton, including Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Chastain and Emma Stone, but THR is reporting that Brittish actress, Carey Mulligan is the Rodham front runner. Mulligan is very popular right now in Hollywood, and most recently starred alongside Leonardo Dicaprio in The Great Gatsby, and has even been nominated for an Oscar for her role in An Education. The Rodham script will be written by Hollywood up and comer, Young il Kim and the project will be directed by The Spectacular Now, director James Ponsoldt.
