MLC Farooq was unanimously elected as AP Council Chief . In regard of his taking charge as AP Council chief, all the ministers and MLCs congratulated him. MLC Farooq hails from Kurnool and first elected as Nandyala Municipal Vice Chairman in 1983 and later became minister twice. He had worked hard and contributed in the grand win of TDP in the recently held Nandyala by election. Now he has became MLC in recognition of his services to the party being the senior leader.
