This drama unfolded on October 15 when 6E 487 flew into Delhi from Chennai. After alighting from the Airbus A-320, a passenger Rajiv Katiyal got into an argument with some ground staffers over some issue and he allegedly abused them. What sparked this argument has not yet been ascertained.

A video of a passenger being assaulted by IndiGo airlines staff has surfaced online. The passenger, Rajeev Katiyal, was manhandled and prevented from boarding the terminal coach after a scuffle with the staff at the Delhi airport.
The incident took place on October 15, but it is going viral on social media websites. According to Rajeev, he was waiting for the bus when an employee 'shouted at him in a rude manner'.
The government has ordered an inquiry and demanded a report from the airline on the incident. After an inquiry, IndiGo has fired the staff involved in the incident. According to reports, the footage was shot by Montu Kalra, who has also been sacked.
IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh called up the passenger and apologised.

A video of Aditya Narayan threatening an airline official in Raipur has gone viral. The son of Bollywood singer, Udit Narayan, was caught shouting at an IndiGo Airlines official after a female staffer asked his group to pay an additional sum of Rs 13,000 for excess baggage. According to the IndiGo statement, Aditya refused to pay more than Rs 10,000 and resorted to ‘unparliamentary’, abusive language. Aditya Narayan has not commented on the video yet, but his father said he finds it hard to believe why he did this.
