Star Wars skips Comic Con and preps for Disney's D23! The D23 Expo is Disney's big, biannual fan convention, that is specifically for Disney projects. And Lucasfilm has decided to make D23 their big stage to let fans in on some of what they've been working on so far for Star Wars Episode VII. Right now, they have a couple of interesting events lined up. One is called Darth Vader: The Evolution of a Villain AND if you're a bit behind on all of the Star Wars madness, there is an event called a Crash Course in the Force: Star Wars Saga 101, which sounds like you will learn everything you need to know to catch you up to speed. There are some rumors floating around from 'insiders' that some of the actors taking part in the new JJ Abrams, directed Star Wars will be making appearances to confirm who they will be playing in Episode VII. However, no confirmation has come from Disney just yet. But if some of the stars did show up, we would definitely anticipate Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill to be there, since there has been more evidence that has these three will in fact return based on leaked information and slip ups in interviews. And it is possible that Disney will actually announce some other cool things like a new title for the movie, or even better...maybe introduce some of the new cast members!
