We're cutting straight to the news on which of your favorite Glee stars will not be back as series regulars and which of the cast will be promoted for season 5 . Congrats are in store for some of our favorite newer Gleeks who we currently know to be recurring guest stars. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the characters taking over McKinley High include Melissa Benoist who plays Marley, Jacob Artist who plays Jake, Becca Tobin as Kitty, and then of course, alums from The Glee Project, Blake Jenner and Alex Newell! And while we couldn't be more excited to see more screen time for this lucky crew, as expected, this also means that some of our absolute favorite original Gleeks --- Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley, and Harry Shum Jr. will no longer be considered series regulars and will likely only return for occasional guest starring appearances. Also departing from her gig as series regular this upcoming season is Jayma Mays as her character Emma - which isn't surprising considering the actress actually just signed on to co-star alongside Will Arnett in a brand new CBS comedy called 'The Millers'.
