Karnataka CM Announces Compensation For Damages Due To Rain | Catch News

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai on November 22 has announced compensation for the damages caused by incessant rains in various parts of the state after reviewing the assessment. “This widespread unexpected rainfall due to depression in Bay of Bengal has led to a huge crop damage. I've asked for an immediate report on the compensation (of Rs 685 crores). Rs 130 crores have already been released for previous crop losses. Compensation of Rs 1 lakh will be given for house collapses.
