భారత రక్షణ రంగాన్ని ప్రైవేటు పరం చేసే 'అగ్నిపథ్' పథకాన్ని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ ఏ ఐ వై ఎఫ్ జాతీయ సమితి పిలుపులో భాగంగా ఏ ఐ వై ఎఫ్ హైదరాబాద్ జిల్లా సమితి ఆధ్వర్యంలో హిమాయత్ నగర్ లోని సత్యనారాయణ రెడ్డి భవన్ వద్ద అగ్నిపథ్ పథకాన్ని వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ సంతకాల సేకరణ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏ ఐ వై ఎఫ్ రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కల్లూరు ధర్మేంద్ర, ఏ ఐ వై ఎఫ్ హైదరాబాద్ జిల్లా అధ్యక్షుడు, కార్యదర్శి ఆర్. బాల కృష్ణ, నెర్లకంటి శ్రీకాంత్ లు మాట్లాడుతూ అగ్నిపథ్ పథకం నిప్పులబాట పథకమని విమర్శించారు. స్వాతంత్ర్య వచ్చి 75 ఏళ్లు గడచినా ఆర్మీ అభ్యర్థుల పట్ల పాలకులు కనబరుస్తున్న తీరు బాధాకరమని వారు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సైనికుల పట్ల నిర్లక్ష్యం కనబర్చడం బాధాకరమని అన్నారు. సైనికులకు దీర్ఘకాలిక ఉపాధి కల్పించడం వల్ల వారు దేశానికి అంకిత భావంతో పని చేసే బాధ్యతను ఎంచుకుంటారని పేర్కొన్నారు. కానీ మోడీ విధానాలు సైనికుల త్యాగనిరతిని దెబ్బతీసేలా ఉన్నాయన్నారు. ఆర్మీలో పెన్షన్ల భారం అంటూనే కాషాయ మత చాందస విధానాలకు అనుసరించే కుటిల ప్రయత్నాలలో భాగమే ఈ అగ్నిపథ్ నియామక ప్రక్రియ అని వారు అన్నారు. అగ్నిపథ్ సైనికులకు నాలుగేళ్ల సర్వీస్ తర్వాత తమ పరిశ్రమల్లో ఉపాధి కల్పిస్తామని బడా సంపన్నులు చెప్పడం విడ్డూరంగా ఉందని అన్నారు. ఇంత కాలం ఎంతమంది సైనికులకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు కల్పించారో వారు వెల్లడించాలని కోరారు. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం 2019లో కార్పొరేట్ పన్ను 30 నుంచి 22 శాతానికి తగ్గించారని, ఈ తగ్గింపు వల్ల దేశానికి రూ.10వేల కోట్లు, కార్పొరేట్ పన్ను తగ్గింపుతో దేశానికి లక్ష కోట్ల రూపాయల రెవన్యూ లోటు ఏర్పడిందని అన్నారు. ఇదంతా పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలకు, ధనికులకు లాభాలు గత మూడేలల్లో 57 శాతం పెరిగిందన్నారు. ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్ మెంట్ పాత పద్దతిలోనే కొనసాగించాలని, యువతకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు యుద్ధప్రాతిపదికన కల్పించాలని వారు డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
