കെഎസ്ആര്ടിസിയുടെ ചില് ബസ് സര്വ്വീസുകള് ആഗസ്റ്റ് ഒന്ന് മുതല് ആരംഭിക്കും.തിരുവനന്തപുരം മുതല് കാസര്ഗോഡ് വരെ കെഎസ്ആര്ടിസിയുടെ എസി ബസ് ഒരു മണിക്കൂര് ഇടവിട്ട് സര്വ്വീസുകള് നടത്തും. 219 കെഎസ്ആര്ടിസി എസി ബസുകള് ഇതിനായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുമെന്ന് കെഎസ്ആര്ടിസി എംഡി ടോമിന് തച്ചങ്കരി പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെ കേരളത്തിലെ എല്ലാ പ്രധാന സിറ്റികളെയും എസി ബസുകള് വഴി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കും.തിരുവനന്തപുരം, ഏറണാകുളം, കാസര്ഗോഡ് എന്നിവ കൂടാതെ കേരളത്തിന്റെ പടിഞ്ഞാറന് മേഖലകളും പദ്ധതിയില് ഉള്പ്പെടും.രാവിലെ 5 മണി മുതല് രാത്രി 10.30 വരെയാണ് ചില് സര്വ്വീസ് സമയം. ഇത് കൂടാതെ രാത്രി 10.30 മുതല് രണ്ട് മണിക്കൂര് ഇടവിട്ട് സര്വ്വീസുകള് നടത്താനും തീരുമാനം ആയി.കെഎസ്ആര്ടിസിയുടെ ഒരു പുതിയ മൊബൈല് ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനും പാസഞ്ചര് ഫ്രണ്ട്ലി ആയുള്ള ട്രാഫിക് ഇന്ഫര്മേഷന് സൗകര്യവും പുതിയതായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കന് പദ്ധതിയുണ്ട്. യാത്രക്കാര്ക്കായി ഓണ്ലൈന് ബുക്കിംഗ് സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ഹൈക്കോടതിവിധി പാലിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി. 3861 താത്കാലിക കണ്ടക്ടർമാരെ പിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു. പി.എസ്.സി. പട്ടികയിലുള്ളവരെ നിയമിക്കാൻ നടപടിയെടുക്കാത്തതിൽ ഹൈക്കോടതി തിങ്കളാഴ്ചയും അതൃപ്തി പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചതിനിടെയാണ് നടപടി.
രാവിലെ പതിവുപോലെ ജോലിക്കെത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് പുറത്തായ വിവരം മിക്കവരും അറിയുന്നത്.

മധ്യ-വടക്കൻ ജില്ലകളിലാണ് കൂടുതൽ ബാധിച്ചത്. ബസുകൾ മുടങ്ങുന്നത് ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ മാനേജ്മെന്റ് നടപടി തുടങ്ങി. അധിക ഡ്യൂട്ടിചെയ്യാൻ സ്ഥിരജീവനക്കാരെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കാനായി അധിക ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്ക് പ്രതിഫലം ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഉയർത്തി. രാവിലെ എട്ടു മണി വരെയുള്ള ഇരുന്നൂറോളം സര്വീസുകള് മുടങ്ങി. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് വിവിധ ഡിപ്പോകളില് നിന്നായി മുപ്പതോളം സര്വീസുകളാണ് നിര്ത്തിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ടൗണ് ടു ടൗണ് സര്വീസുകളാണ് ഇതിലേറെയും. അതേ സമയം ദീര്ഘദൂര സര്വീസുകള് മുടക്കം കൂടാതെ നടത്താന് കെഎസ്ആര്ടിസി എംഡി നിര്ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
കൊച്ചിയില് പുലര്ച്ചെ മുതല് ഓടേണ്ട 62 ല് 24 ഓളം സര്വീസുകള് മുടങ്ങി.
തിരു-കൊച്ചി സര്വീസുകളേയും ജനറല് സര്വീസുകളേയുമാണ് ജീവനക്കാരില്ലാത്തത് ബാധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. മലബാറില് രാവിലെ ഏഴ് മണിവരെയുള്ള കണക്കുകള് പ്രകാരം 79 സര്വീസുകള് മുടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കാസര്ഗോഡും കോഴിക്കോടും 15
