The film has been helmed by Pawan Kumar, who also helmed the Kannada original. The film is being released in Tamil and Telugu.

    कोविड-19 की दूसरी लहर के बीच आइवरमेक्टिन नाम की दवा चर्चा में है… कोरोना वायरस संक्रमित मरीजों को यह दवा खूब लिखी जा रही है... कई राज्यों की कोविड किट में इस दवा का जिक्र है... गोवा में राज्य सरकार ने 18 साल से अधिक उम्र के सभी लोगों से यह दवा लेने को कहा है.. राज्य के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री विश्वजीत राणे के अनुसार, आइवरमेक्टिन सभी हेल्थ सेंटर्स पर उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। सभी को यह दवा लेनी चाहिए भले ही उनमें कोविड-19 के लक्षण हों या नहीं। राणे ने दावा किया था कि यूके, इटली, स्पेन और जापान के एक्सपर्ट ने भी इस दवा के असर का माना है... गोवा के अलावा दूसरे राज्यों में भी कोरोना के इलाज के लिए यह दवा मरीजों को दी जाती रही है... यहां तक कि यूनियन हेल्थ मिनिस्ट्री और इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च के नैशनल कोविड टास्क फोर्स ने भी बीते महीने लिए इस दवा को हरी झंडी दी थी.. पर विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन इस दवा का प्रयोग ना करने की बात कह रहा है..
