വടക്കുകിഴക്കന്‍ സംസ്ഥാനമായ മേഘാലയയില്‍നിന്ന് സായുധസേനാ പ്രത്യേകാധികാര നിയമം പിന്‍വലിച്ചു.ആംഡ് ഫോഴ്‌സസ് സ്‌പെഷല്‍ പവേഴ്‌സ് ആക്ട് എന്ന അഫ്‌സ്പയാണ് 27 വര്‍ഷത്തിനു ശേഷം പിന്‍വലിച്ചത്. കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്റേതാണ് തീരുമാനം. 1991 സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ മുതല്‍ മേഘാലയയിലെ 40 ശതമാനത്തോളം പ്രദേശങ്ങളില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്ന നിയമമാണ് പിന്‍വലിച്ചത്. അരുണാചല്‍പ്രദേശിലെ എട്ടിടങ്ങളിലും സായുധസേനാ പ്രത്യേക അധികാര നിയമമായ അഫ്‌സ്പ പിന്‍വലിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരുമായുള്ള കൂടിയാലോചനകള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് നിയമം പിന്‍വലിക്കാന്‍ കേന്ദ്രം തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.

दोस्तों वैसे तो मेघालय के इन पुलों को देखने के लिए हजारों लग देखने आते है ।क्युकी ये ऐसे वेसे पूल नही बल्कि जिंदा लता, वैसे तो पेड़ को मिला के ग्रामबासी इन पुलों का निर्माण करते है ।
एक बात और इन पूल 50 मीटर तक लंबा और 1.5 की चौड़ाई तक बनाई जाती है ।आप को ये भी बता दे की पूल को पेहेले पेड़ के रूट को बुन के धीरे धीरे आकर दिया जाता है इस प्रोसेस के लिए 15 साल तक टाइम लगता है ।
साथ की साथ ये इतना मजभूत होते की 500 आदमियों के बजन संभाल सकता है और ये पांसों साल तक बिना किसी नुकसान के टिकसकता है ।एक बात और है की मेघालय के इन जंगोलों में ग्रामबासी इनको रोजाना इस्तेमाल करते है और अपने जरूरत के सामग्री इन पे लेजाते है ।
