വേര്‍സിസ് 1000 ബൈക്കുകളെ ഡീലര്‍ഷിപ്പുകളിലേക്ക് കയറ്റി അയക്കുന്നത് നാളുകള്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പെ കവാസാക്കി നിര്‍ത്തി. ശേഷം പഴയ സ്റ്റോക്കുകള്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും വിറ്റുതീര്‍ന്നെന്നു കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക വെബ്‌സൈറ്റില്‍ നിന്നും മോഡലിനെ കമ്പനി പിന്‍വലിച്ചു. അതേസമയം വേര്‍സിസ് X-300, വേര്‍സിസ് 650 മോഡലുകള്‍ വില്‍പനയില്‍ തുടരും.മികച്ച ഓഫ്‌റോഡിംഗ് ശേഷി വേര്‍സിസ് 1000 -നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഭാരവും ഉയരവും മോഡലിന് ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ വിനയായി.239 കിലോ ഭാരവും 845 mm ഉയരവും ബൈക്കിന്റെ പ്രതിച്ഛായക്ക് മങ്ങലേല്‍പ്പിച്ചു. മൂന്നു മോഡുള്ള കവാസാക്കി ട്രാക്ഷന്‍ കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ സംവിധാനം, രണ്ടു റൈഡിംഗ് മോഡുകള്‍ എന്നീ അടിസ്ഥാന ഫീച്ചറുകള്‍ മാത്രമാണ് വേര്‍സിസ് 1000 -ല്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടാവുന്നത്.13.28 ലക്ഷം രൂപയായിരുന്നു മോഡലിന് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വിപണിയില്‍ വില.
