Former England cricketer has come down hard at India skipper Virat Kohli for his aggressive behaviour on the field. Tempers flared during the second Test between England and India as several players from both sides were seen having a go at each other. Apparently, Jasprit Bumrah bowling bouncers to James Anderson hadn’t gone well with the latter and the whole English side it seemed.

They tried to give it back to Bumrah when he came to bat and lost the plot completely. Apart from Anderson, even Jos Buttler was involved in a heated conversation with the India pacer and England ended up conceding 89 runs for ninth wicket stand of Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. In trying to intimidate the former, they were all over the place with the ball and eventually, ended up losing the Test.

Team India was pumped up when they came to bowl and the skipper Virat Kohli, as expected, was constantly in the ears of some of the England batsmen, especially Ollie Robinson. He was also involved in a war of words with Anderson during India’s second innings.

Interestingly, two days after the Test match ended, Nick Compton has come up with a staggering claim of having been at the receiving end of a massive abuse during England’s tour of India in 2012. He also called Virat Kohli as a foul-mouthed individual while terming the likes of Joe Root, Sachin Tendulkar and Kane Williamson among others as cool and calm personalities.
