प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का डिग्री विवाद एक बार फिर गर्मा गया है। केंद्रीय सूचना आयोग ने दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी से साल 1978 में बीए डिग्री के बैच के सभी छात्रों के रिकोर्ड की पड़ताल करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
.... केंद्रीय सूचना आयोग ने 1978 में बीए की डिग्री हासिल करने वाले सभी छात्रों के रिकॉर्ड की कॉपी आरटीआई आवेदनकर्ता को उपलब्ध कराए जाने के निर्देश दिए हैं। दरअसल आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता नीरज ने दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से 1978 में बीए के रिकॉर्ड मांगे थे, लेकिन विश्वविद्यालय ने यह कहते हुए जानकारी देने से साफ इंकार कर दिया था कि यह एक छात्र की निजी जानकारी है और इसका किसी भी तरह के सार्वजनिक हित से कोई लेना देना नहीं है। हालांकि अब सूचना आयुक्त के श्रीधर आचार्युल ने दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी की जनसंपर्क अधिकारी मीनाक्षी सहाय से रिकॉर्ड की जाँच करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने मीनाक्षी की इस दलील को भी खारिज कर दिया जिसमें कहा गया था ।
