दिल्ली के आदर्श नगर वार्ड के अंदर जहांगीरपुरी G ब्लॉक में दिल्ली नगर निगम की हरदयाल म्यूनसीपल हेरिटेज पब्लिक लाइब्रेरी का उद्घाटन किया गया। जहांगीरपुरी G ब्लॉक के नगर निगम सामुदायिक भवन में इस हरदयाल लाइब्रेरी की शुरुआत की गई है।
यह सब कार्य यहां की स्थानीय निगम पार्षद गरिमा गुप्ता के प्रयासों से हुआ है। इस मौके पर हरदयाल पब्लिक लाइब्रेरी की सचिव पूनम पाराशर भी मौजूद रही और क्षेत्रवासियों को इस लाइब्रेरी की शुभकामनाएं दी।
गरिमा गुप्ता ने कहा कि यहां अब लोग लाइब्रेरी का आनंद उठा पाएंगे साथ ही बच्चे प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी भी इस लाइब्रेरी में कर पाएंगे। अध्ययन के लिए काफी अच्छी जगह यहां के लोगों को मिल गई है। साथ ही यह भी जानकारी दी गई कि यदि कोरोना जैसी महामारी बढ़ती है तो ऐसे में लोग घर पर ही लाइब्रेरी की पुस्तकों का लाभ ले सके इसलिए लाइब्रेरी को ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म पर लाने की भी कोशिश की जा रही है। कहीं ना कहीं आदर्श नगर वार्ड को यह एक बेहतरीन तोहफा मिला है

साथ ही लाइब्रेरी की चेयरमैन पर लगा रहे हैं भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप।
हरदयाल म्युनिसिपल हेरिटेज पब्लिक लाइब्रेरी के कर्मचारियों का धरना आज दिल्ली के एलजी हाउस पर हुआ। दीपावली से पहले अपनी सैलरी की मांग करने के लिए कर्मचारी यहां पहुंचे हैं। कर्मचारियों को आशा है कि दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल उनकी अरदास सुनेंगे और इस समस्या का समाधान निकालेंगे। बता दें कि इससे पहले भी लगातार अपनी सैलरी को लेकर ये लंबे वक्त से प्रदर्शन करते आ रहे हैं इनके बैनर पर भी लिखा है 17 महीने से सैलरी नहीं मिली लेकिन यह बैनर भी 2 महीने पहले जो प्रदर्शन किया था उस वक्त का है। अब इन्हें सैलरी मिले 19 महीने हो गए हैं और उसी सैलरी की मांग के लिए आज यह दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल के द्वार पर पहुंचे हैं।

The exhibition was started at 25 and concluded on 26 November. Dr. Sangrang Brahma HoD Librarian of Bodoland University termed that the Bodoland University VC allotted Rs 1 lakh each to 18 departments to purchase departmental essential books so that they can keep in their library without a shortage of books in the university.
