India and Sri Lanka are set to face each other for the first time in a day-night Test which is also the second and final game of the two-match series. The Pink ball Test match will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore from March 12 and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has come up with a delighting news for the fans.
KSCA, in a press release, has confirmed that a full capacity crowd will be allowed for the Test match. Earlier, it was decided that only 50% crowd would be due to COVID-19 related restrictions. However, the pandemic situation in India and in Karnataka also is well under control even as the third wave has also gone down considerably.
However, the sale of the additional capacity tickets will be made available at the ground itself on March 11 (Friday). “KSCA is happy to inform you that there has been very good response for viewership of the India vs Sri Lanka Day-Night Test cricket match being played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore from March 12-16, 2022.
“Considering the high volume response and since there are no further restrictions for spectators, KSCA will be opening up sale of tickets for full capacity of the stadium. Additional capacity of tickets will be made available through Box Office sale on Friday, 11th March 2022 from 10 AM to 7 PM,” the statement read.
Virat Kohli’s century drought to end?
