With the arrest of (1) Sonam Kumari, aged 25 years R/o Meerganj, Distt. Bareilly, UP, (2) Rahul Kumar, aged 22 years R/o Meerganj, Distt. Bareilly, UP and (3) Rajat Kumar, aged 23 years R/o Nipania, Teh. Milakh, Distt. Rampur, UP, the Cyber Police Station, Rohini has busted a gang of hi-tech criminals who used to cheat gullible people on pretext of facilitating placement/job in foreign companies.
a complaint at Cyber Police Station Rohini alleging therein that he uploaded his resume on shine.com job portal. Soon after, he received a telephonic call from a person who offered a job in Malaysia to the complainant. In order to win the faith of the complainant, the alleged also sent him job offer letter in the name of a prestigious company. Thereafter, alleged person lured the complainant to transfer Rs. 76,300 on pretext of documents verification, VISA approval, Immigration approval etc.
