डेंगू, मलेरीया और चिकनगुनिया जैसी बरसाती बिमीरीयों की तैयारी और गंभीरता को देखते हुए स्टेंडिंग कमेटी की अध्यक्षा ने 1 अगस्त को स्पेशल बैठक बुलाई इस बैठक में केवल डेंगू, मलेरीया और चिकनगुनिया जैसी बिमारीयों से निपटने के लिये चर्चा की गई बैठक के दौरान अधिकारियों ने बताया की बिमारियों से निपटने और उसके रोकथाम के लिये पर्याप्त दवाईयां औज़ार और कीटनाश मौजुद हैं साथ ही 850 फिल्ड वर्कर किटनाशक का समय-समय पर छिडकाव कर रहे हैं इताना ही नहीं 4 फोगिंग मशीन भी है और इन बिमारियों के इलाज के लिए हिन्दू राव हॉस्पिटल में 70 और कस्तूरबा गंधी हॉस्पिटल में 75 बेड़ डेंगू और चिकनगूनिया के मरीजों के लिये रिज़र्व है लेकिन अधिकारियों ने विपक्ष के मांगे गए सवालों के जबाव गोल मोल दिये जिससे बैठक में मौजुद पक्ष और विपक्ष दोनों ही नाराज़ दिखे विकास गोयल के शार्ट नोटिस के जबाव में पता चला की UDC के कुल 7 पद हैं जिसमें से 6 पद खाली हैं तो वहीं SMI के 15 पद हैं जिसमें से 15 के 15 पद ही खाली है तो वहीं MI के 129 पद हैं जिसमें से 122 पद अभी भी रिक्त हैं AMI 378 पद हैं जिसमें से 263 पद खाली हैं तो वहीं ये भी खुलासा हूआ की दिल्ली सरकार की तरफ से मिले 21.5 करोड़ रूपयें में से अभी तक 43000 रुपये ही निगम की तरफ से 4 महिने के दौरान खर्च किय गये हैं जिस पर विकास गोयल ने नाराज़गी जताई।Watch North MCD News : Standing Committee Meeting on Dengue , Chikanguniya and Malariya || Delhi Darpan TV With HD Quality

रोहिणी सेक्टर -24 में शहीद भगत सिंह की जयंती पर जय जवान फ्रैंड्स क्लब द्वारा एक विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जिसमें सैंकड़ों लोगों ने शहीदेआज़म भगत सिंह को श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित किये।
बात देशभक्ति और शहीदों को याद करने की हो----- तो , जय जवान फ्रैंड्स क्लब इस मुहीम में सबसे आगे दीखता है।
संस्थापक संजय डबास ने दिल्ली देहात और रोहिणी क्षेत्र के लोगों का स्वागत किया। इस अवसर पर स्थानीय निगम पार्षद और कई स्थानीय नेताओं ने भी शिरकत की और शहीद भगत सिंह को श्रद्धांजलि दी।
इस कार्यक्रम में महिलाओं की सहभागिता भी कम नहीं थी। ये सभी यहाँ शहीद भगत सिंह के जन्मदिवस पर उनको श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिये एकत्रित हुए थे।
शहीद भगत सिंह को याद करते हुए कई बुद्धिजीवियों और कवी ने भी इस मौके पर अपने विचार रखे।
जय जवान फ्रैंड्स क्लब के सदस्य शहीदों की याद में साल भर इस तरह कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते रहते हैं।
रोहिणी के सेक्टर -24 स्थित इस पार्क का नामकरण शहीदेआजम के नाम पर करने का श्रेय भी जय जवान फ्रैंड्स क्लब के प्रयासों को ही जाता है। अपने तमाम व्यस्तताओं से समय निकाल कर इस क्लब के सदस्य लोगों में शहीदों के प्रति सम्मान और देशभक्ति का जज़्बा भरने का काम करते हैं।
