दिल्ली के शालीमार बाग मेट्रो स्टेशन के पूर्व में बनाए गए मेट्रो गेट और लिफ्ट के आसपास की जमीन नीचे धसना शुरू हो चुकी है। इस मेट्रो स्टेशन की यह पहली ही मानसून है कि मेट्रो स्टेशन के आसपास की जमीन में दरारें आ गई। दरारें इतनी बड़ी है कि यहां लोगों में डर पैदा हो गया है कि जिस वक्त तेज बारिश होती है नीचे अंडरग्राउंड मेट्रो में भी पानी पहुंच जाता है मेट्रो स्टेशन के 3 बड़े बड़े गेट यहां इस तरह बनाए गए हैं। तीनों गेट के आसपास कई कई इंच चौड़ी दरारें आ गई है। जब बारिश होती है तो इन दरारों से पानी भी अंदर जाता है। मेट्रो अंदर ग्राउंड होने के कारण निर्माण के दौरान इस पूरे एरिया की खुदाई की गई थी। अब आसपास की दीवारों में भी दरारें आ गई है किसी भी वक्त यहां बड़ा हादसा हो सकता है। इसको लेकर लोगों में भी काफी दहशत है। दिल्ली-एनसीआर में इस मानसून में जब लोग बिल्डिंग गिरने की बात सुनते हैं तो इस मेट्रो स्टेशन से गुजरते हुए लोगों के दिमाग में बिल्डिंग गिरने के बाते आ जाती हैं और उन्हें इस बात का डर है कि किसी भी वक्त यह मेट्रो स्टेशन भी जमीन में धंस सकता है। आप देख सकते हैं कितनी बड़ी-बड़ी दरारें आई हुई है। लोगों के आने जाने के लिए वजीरपुर मार्केट के पास में बड़ी लिफ्ट बनाई गई थी। लिफ्ट का गेट बंद कर दिया गया है और लिफ्ट को नोटिस चिपकाया गया है कि तकनीकी खराबी के कारण इस लिफ्ट को बंद कर दिया गया है।
