No. 1001, Tower A9, Jaypee Klassic, Sector -129, Noida, U.P., the staff of Cyber Police Station, Rohini Distt. has busted an Online Nigerian racket based in Delhi NCR. 03 wifi dongles, 01 laptop, 11 Mobile Phones, 12 SIM Cards, 03 ATMs Cards and 01 Passport were recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT

On 14/02/2022, a complaint regarding online cyber fraud was received, wherein complainant Dr. Kiran Joshi alleged that on 28th February 2022, she registered herself on matrimonial site 'Jeevansathi.com'. She received a match request from Dr. Prakash Sharma on 02-03-2022, who claimed himself to be a plastic surgeon in Aintree hospital, Liverpool, United Kingdom and mentioned his origin from Faridabad, Haryana. After that, he started chatting with the complainant on Whats App from UK numbers. On 12-03-2022, he informed to the complainant that he is coming to India on 21-03-2022 after attending 01 week seminar in Singapore. Further, he informed the complainant that he is sending some luggage to her address through courier service and also send the parcel track ID to the complainant.
