Atmosphere remained solemn on Tuesday as the dead bodies of martyrs who laid their lives in Sunday's terror attack in Uri sector in jammu and Kashmir were brought to their native villages for last rites. Emotions ran high as the dead bodies of the martyrs were being taken for the last rites. There was anger and respect among the people who were present at the NSC Bose International Airport to receive the coffins carrying the mortal remains of Sepoys Gangadhar Dolui and Biswajit Garai. Dolui hailed from Jamuna Balia village in Howrah district, while Garai was a resident of South 24 Parganas district's Ganga Sagar. Senior army officials laid wreaths as soldiers saluted their martyred colleagues. The mortal remains will consigned to flames later in the day with full Military honour..
