Shimla (Himachal Pradesh): The thrill of ice skating session of this year has begun in Asia's first open air ice skating rink. With the drop in temperature in the district Shimla, ice has frozen in more than half of the rink. The skating trial was conducted on 16 December by members of the Ice Skating Rink Club. Due to Corona, people aged less than ten years and above sixty years are not allowed to skate in the rink. From eight o'clock in the morning to ten o'clock, the skirts enjoyed the thrill of sliding on the glass, although fewer people came to ice skink because of the corona. This Ice skating rink was built by Britishers in 1920. There used to be a tennis court before the skating rink. Till independence, only the Britisher were allowed to come here.

Shimla( himachal) The skating trial at Shimla's historic ice skating rink was successful on Tuesday morning. The operators, members and officials of the ice skating rink did skating from 8.30 am to 9.00 am. Skating trial was done for half an hour. After the trial is successful, members will be able to do ice skating in the rink from Wednesday. Due to the work of Smart City, the rink has remained less than half. For now, morning sessions will be held. The Ice Skating Rink located in Lakkar Bazar, Shimla is the first open air rink in Asia where even today ice is frozen naturally. This rink was built by the British in 1920.
