Shimla (Himachal Pradesh): The thrill of ice skating session of this year has begun in Asia's first open air ice skating rink. With the drop in temperature in the district Shimla, ice has frozen in more than half of the rink. The skating trial was conducted on 16 December by members of the Ice Skating Rink Club. Due to Corona, people aged less than ten years and above sixty years are not allowed to skate in the rink. From eight o'clock in the morning to ten o'clock, the skirts enjoyed the thrill of sliding on the glass, although fewer people came to ice skink because of the corona. This Ice skating rink was built by Britishers in 1920. There used to be a tennis court before the skating rink. Till independence, only the Britisher were allowed to come here.
