New regulations related to driving licenses have come into force, a national register is being created to avoid duplication. Ministry of Road Traffic objective is to make all those changes in the driving license, so that duplication can be avoided. According to the ministry's data, about 1.5 lakh people die in road accidents every year in the country. Statistics show that most of the accidents happen due to driver's fault. In such a situation, a lot of cases also come up, which is questioned on the driver's license. The Ministry is going to create a National Register to get rid of this.The ministry is also preparing to make public the names of reckless drivers, whose licenses have been confiscated, making such a driver public as a dangerous driver.
