मंडी। सेंट्रल रेंज मंडी के तहत आने वाले पांच जिलों की पुलिस कल से कोरोना कर्फ्यू को लेकर पूरी तरह से सख्ती बरतने जा रही है। रेंज के डीआईजी मधुसूदन गर्ग ने आज मंडी में पत्रकारों से बातचीत में इस बात की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि सख्ती से अभिप्राय पुलिस की कड़ी गश्त, निगरानी और नाकेबंदी से है। शहरों के साथ-साथ इस बार ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों पर अधिक सख्ती बरती जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि जब से प्रदेश में कोरोना कर्फ्यू लगा है तब से सेंट्रल रेंज में बीना मास्क घूम रहे 668 लोगों के चालान काटकर 489500 हजार का जुर्माना वसूल किया है। वहीं तीन दुकानदारों के चालान भी काटे हैं। गर्ग ने स्पष्ट किया कि लोगों को बेवजह परेशान करना पुलिस का मकसद नहीं बल्कि ऐसे लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने से है जो नियमों को धत्ता बताने में लगे हुए हैं। अब पुलिस जीरो टॉलरेंस की नीति पर काम करने जा रही है।
