Mcleodganj : Deputy Speaker of the Exiled Tibetan Parliament Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok said China's government can have no role in choosing the next Dalai Lama. He was hopeful the strong bipartisan and bicameral support of the US for the Tibet issue would continue under the Joe Biden administration. China on Friday said that any successor to the present Dalai Lama should be approved by it, ruling out recognition to any heir nominated by him or by his followers. The reincarnation of the Dalai Lama and other grand living Buddhas has been subjected to approval by the central government since the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911), claimed an official white paper issued by the Chinese government here. The document has also asserted that Tibet was an inseparable part of China since ancient times.

मैकलोडगंज। निर्वासित तिब्बती संसद के डिप्टी स्पीकर आचार्य येशी फुंटसोक ने कहा कि अगले दलाई लामा को चुनने में चीन की सरकार की कोई भूमिका नहीं हो सकती है। उन्हें उम्मीद है कि जो बाइडेन प्रशासन के तहत तिब्बत मुद्दे के लिए अमेरिका का मजबूत समर्थन जारी रहेगा। इससे पहले चीन ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि वर्तमान दलाई लामा के उत्तराधिकारी को मान्यता देने से पहले उसकी मंजूरी मिलनी चाहिए। दलाई लामा और अन्य भव्य जीवित बुद्धों के पुनर्जन्म को किंग राजवंश (1644-1911) के बाद से चीन सरकार द्वारा अनुमोदन के अधीन किया गया है, यहां चीनी सरकार द्वारा जारी एक आधिकारिक श्वेत पत्र का दावा किया गया है। दस्तावेज़ में यह भी दावा किया गया है कि तिब्बत प्राचीन काल से चीन का एक अविभाज्य हिस्सा था।
