In a story that has provoked startling headlines and stunned the track-and-field community, three-time U.S. Olympic middle distance runner Suzy Favor Hamilton admitted in a report published Thursday at The Smoking Gun that for the last year she has been working as a '$600-an-hour' Las Vegas escort. “I take full responsibility for my mistakes. I'm not the victim and I'm not going that route,” Favor Hamilton told TSG. “I'm owning up to what I did. I would not blame anybody except myself. Everybody in this world makes mistakes. I made a huge mistake. Huge.”
An Olympian in 1992, 1996 and 2000, until now Favor Hamilton was most famous for intentionally falling to the track in the 1500 meter final in Sydney when it became clear she could not medal in honor of her late brother, Dan. A former member of the Wisconsin track team, Favor Hamilton was one of the most decorated female runners in NCAA history and has the Big Ten's Female Athlete of the Year Award named in her honor.
Favor Hamilton still lives in Madison, Wisc., with her husband and 7-year-old daughter. Three-time Olympic runner Suzy Favor Hamilton's secret life has caught up to her: The Smoking Gun revealed in a Thursday report that Favor Hamilton has worked for the past year as a $600-an-hour call girl.
In December 2011, Favor Hamilton, 44, began work as 'Kelly Lundy' for a Las Vegas escort service called Haley Heston's Private Collection. She apparently later leaked her true identity to some clients, according to the Smoking Gun. A reporter for the outlet confronted Hamilton and she eventually confessed, saying it was a 'huge mistake.'
In the track and field world, Favor Hamilton is perhaps best known for leading with 200 meters left in the 1,500 meter race at the Sydney Olympics, but then fading and collapsing in the homestretch to finish last. The New York Times reported Favor Hamilton had the best time in the world entering the race, after a collegiate career at Wisconsin, where she won a then-record nine titles.
Favor Hamilton admitted to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in July that she took a dive in Sydney on purpose. 'I wanted that gold so bad,' she told the paper. 'I thought that was the only way to true happiness in my life. It was unbelievable how I let my brain get so out of perspective.'

About ASHI, Haryana:
Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) is a Voluntary and Social Organization aiming at challenging those conditions that lead to exploitation of women and children for anti-social purposes by providing shelter for Destitute & Orphan children and arranging for their education, vocational training and rehabilitation are one of the Association’s main activities. The Governor of Haryana, their Chief Patron, visits the Home once a year to encourage and bless the children.
