Social media service providers must submit to jurisdiction of Indian court by having physical presence in #India; govt considering rules for such platforms to have grievance officers in India.
After Government issued notice to #WhatsApp and it reduced number of fwds to 5, it now plans to remove fwd button adjacent to video or audio msg; they also plan to bring fact checking and fake news verification mechanism.
