Volunteers gathered at a hospital in the Siberian city of Tuymen on Tuesday to give blood for the survivors of Monday's plane crash.

The ATR-72 passenger plane with 39 passengers and four crew members on board crashed outside Tyumen on Monday morning, killing 31 people.

Most of blood donors are not relatives or friends of the casualties.

'Nobody left indifferent to the tragedy in Tyumen. And we all want to help, we do whatever we can to help,' one woman says.

'I wanted to help the victims of catastrophe. The wife of my colleague died there,' man said.

Eleven of the 12 survivors are being treated in Tyumen, and one has been flown to Moscow..
