चिंतपूर्णी। विश्व विख्यात धार्मिक स्थल मां चिंतपूर्णी के दरबार में शारदीय नवरात्रों की महाअष्टमी की धूम रही। इस मौके पर माता का विशेष पूजा अर्चना किया गया वहीं हिमाचल प्रदेश के साथ-साथ पंजाब, हरियाणा, दिल्ली, उत्तर प्रदेश और बिहार सहित अन्य राज्यों से भी हजारों श्रद्धालुओं ने मां के दरबार पहुंचकर पावन पिंडी के दर्शन किए। मंदिर के पुजारी संदीप कालिया ने बताया कि महा अष्टमी के दिन ही माता भगवती का प्रादुर्भाव हुआ था। इतना ही नहीं इसी दिन भगवान श्रीराम ने सागर तट पर लंका विजय प्राप्त करने के लिए माता भगवती का पूजन किया था। जिससे प्रसन्न होकर माता भगवती ने भगवान राम को विजय श्री का आशीर्वाद दिया और विजयदशमी के मौके पर प्रभु श्री राम ने रावण का वध कर लंका पर विजय पाई थी। उन्होंने बताया कि इसी समय से शारदीय नवरात्रों का प्रचलन शुरू हुआ था।
