जवाली। पौंग झील प्रवासी पक्षियों के आगमन से गुलजार हो गई है तथा पक्षियों के आने के साथ पर्यटक भीआने शुरू हो गए हैं। अभी तक पौंग झील में बारहेडिड गीज, कामनटील, नॉर्दन पेंटल, कॉमनकूट, लिटल कोरमोरेंट, चिफचेफ, रुडी, शेल्डक, कामन, पोचार्ड, कॉमन टिल, लिटिल, कोर्मोरेंट, स्पाट्विल, मलार्ड बर्ड, युरेशियन टीलमूर हेन व ग्रेट इग्रेट प्रजातियों के 20 हजार विदेशी परिंदे पहुंच चुके हैं जिनकी संख्या बढती ही जाएगी। विदेशी पर्यटक पौंग झील में पक्षियों की तैराकी व चहचाहट को देखने-सुनने के लिए आते हैं। इन मेहमानों की सुरक्षा के लिए वन्य प्राणी विभाग पूरी तरह तैयार है।
