The One Rank One Pension (OROP) issue was one of the issues that the retired armed forces personnel raised and Rahul Gandhi has stated he would press for an early resolution of this matter. He said our soldiers never think twice before making the supreme sacrifice for our country and that he would do everything to ensure their demands are met.

The Supreme Court has also given exemption to the Ex-Servicemen Association that if they are not satisfied with the payment of the dues of the Central Government, then they can apply again in the Supreme Court.
