Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) : During the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, a grand welcome was given at Hamirpur Gandhi Chowk to welcome the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur. On this occasion, former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal, BJP State President Suresh Kashyap, Panchayati Raj Minister Virendra Kanwar, Minister Rajendra Garg, Industries and Transport Minister Vikram Singh were welcomed. At the same time, the workers also expressed their happiness by lighting drums, and crackers. Anurag Thakur could not contain himself during his address and got emotional, tears welled up from his eyes.
