बिलासपुर: हिमाचल और पंजाब को जोड़ने वाला रेलवे लाइन भानुप्ली बिलासपुर की सुरंग 5 का आज विधिवत रूप से उद्घाटन किया गया | चिफ प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर राजीव सोनी ने इसका उद्घाटन किया | इस सुरंग की लंबाई लगभग 700 मीटर के करीब है और अब इसके दोनों सिरे आपस में जुड़ गए हैं | उल्लेखनीय है कि भानुप्ली बिलासपुर रेलवे लाइन एक महत्वकांक्षी योजना है और इस महत्वपूर्ण प्रोजेक्ट को अब लेह लद्दाख तक सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी मिल चुकी है सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से भी इसे काफी अहम माना जा रहा है हलाकी हिमाचल के लोगों का यह काफी पुराना सपना है जो अब साकार होता नजर आ रहा है |
