Bear mauled two persons Mohd Yaqoob Naik & Tawseef Ahmad Khan of Batagund Verinag .Yaqoob who is undergoing treatment at SKIMS Srinagar got serious injuries at his head and Tawseef got 26 stitches on his legs/ thighs .This is a 2nd attack of wild bear in 24 hours in the same village in which a 13 year old boy tawseef Ah Khan and a man Mohd Yaqoob Naik became victims of the bear.People of the area demand financial & medical help for both the poor villagers.

B2V4 was today started at Mirgund A halqa by visiting officer DG animal husbandry Mr. Bashir Ahmad khan. At the outset the visiting officer visited the stalls installed by various departments. DG Animal Husbandry then interacted with officers of line departments and reviewed various developmental activities done by different departments.
On the occasion each department briefed the visiting officers about achievements and the on going works. Visiting officer stressed on coordinated efforts for development of the area.
This is a two day program and similar activities are being carried out at other areas and panchayats of the sub division
