ഫേയ്‌സ്ബുക്ക് പുതിയ രണ്ട് വീഡിയോ കോളിങ് ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തിറക്കി. പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍, പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍ പ്ലസ് എന്നീ ഉപകരണങ്ങളാണ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയത്.ആര്‍ട്ടിഫിഷ്യല്‍ ഇന്റലിജന്‍സ് അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ വഴിയുള്ള വീഡിയോ കോളുകളെല്ലാം എന്‍ക്രിപ്റ്റഡ് ആയിരിക്കും. ആമസോണ്‍ അലെക്‌സ സ്മാര്‍ട് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് സേവനം ലഭ്യമായ ഈ ഉപകരണം ഒരു ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ സ്മാര്‍ട് സ്പീക്കറായും ഉപയോഗിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. ശബ്ദ നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങളിലൂടെ വീഡിയോ കോള്‍ ചെയ്യാനും ഇതില്‍ സാധിക്കും. അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്ക്, ആമസോണ്‍, ബെസ്റ്റ് ബൈ എന്നിവ വഴി പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍, പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍ പ്ലസ് ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ മുന്‍കൂട്ടി ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്. 199 ഡോളറാണ് പോര്‍ട്ടലിന് വില ഇത് ഏകദേശം 17500 രൂപ വരും. പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍ പ്ലസിന് 349 ഡോളര്‍ (24,777രൂപ ) ആണ് വില.. 'ഹേയ് പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍' എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് വീഡിയോ കോളുകള്‍ ആക്റ്റിവേറ്റ് ആവും. ഒരേ സമയം ഏഴ് ആളുകളോട് വരെ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് കോള്‍ ചെയ്യാനാവും. ഓഗ്മെന്റഡ് റിയാലിറ്റി ഇഫക്ടുകളും ഇതില്‍ ലഭ്യമാണ്. സ്‌പോട്ടിഫൈ, ഐഹേര്‍ട്ട് റേഡിയോ, ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്ക് വാച്ച്, ഫുഡ് നെറ്റ് വര്‍ക്ക്, ന്യൂസി പോലുള്ള സേവനങ്ങളും പോര്‍ട്ടലില്‍ ലഭ്യമാണ്.വൈഡ് സക്രീന്‍ ഡിസ്‌പ്ലേയാണ് രണ്ട് ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമുള്ളത്. സ്‌ക്രീനിന് താഴെയായി ഒരു സൗണ്ട് ബാറും ഉണ്ട്. 1280 x 800 പിക്‌സലില്‍ പത്ത് ഇഞ്ച് ഡിസ്‌പ്ലേയാണ് പോര്‍ട്ടലിനുള്ളത്. 1920 x 1080 പിക്‌സല്‍ റസലൂഷനിലുള്ള 15 ഇഞ്ച് ഡിസ്‌പ്ലേയാണ് പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍ പ്ലസിനുള്ളത്.ഉപയോക്താവിന്റെ ചലനങ്ങള്‍ തിരിച്ചറിയാന്‍ കഴിവുള്ള സ്മാര്‍ട് ക്യാമറയാണ് പോര്‍ട്ടല്‍ ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളത്. നടന്ന് കൊണ്ട് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴും ക്യാമറ ഉപയോക്താവിന് നേരെ തന്നെ നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. അതുവഴി വീഡിയോകോളില്‍ എപ്പോഴും ഉപയോക്താവിനെ കാണാന്‍ സാധിക്കും. ഇതിലെ സ്മാര്‍ട് സൗണ്ട് സംവിധാനം പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ബഹളങ്ങള്‍ കുറയ്ക്കുകയും സംസാരിക്കുന്നയാളിന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തിന് പ്രാമുഖ്യം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു
